The club supports local charities and hold events during the year for fundraising.

The club charity for 2022 - 23 is to contribute to a fund set up by Andy Simmons, proprietor of the Ploughman Public House ( where we have been meeting in the pub Community Room while the Sports Centre remains closed) to purchase and install  a defibrillator. This will be a benefit to the local community and the plan is to have it installed in an old style telephone box outside the pub.
