This shield is in fond memory of the late Jane Brown who in her time was an accomplished runner with Werrington Joggers, and her records still exist at all distances from 5K to Marathon in the Ladies Vet 65 category.

The shield is awarded to the first female finisher from the club at the Great Eastern Run (or equivalent local Half Marathon) to be presented at the annual Presentation Evening.
